As part of the Hastings Bypass Campaign a web site was built for the Hastings Friends of the Earth group, to provide a web portal for those interested or wanting to become involved in the campaign.

The site provided panoramas, showing how the areas looked, prior to development and how they would appear afterwards. This was achieved by converting photographs into Quick Time VR format and creating an artist's impression of the bypass using Photoshop.

The campaign was successful, with the bypass being completely rejected by the Government. Had the bypass been approved the site would have provided a focus to continue lobbying government and as a focal point for information.
